HLFG's subsidiary Hong Leong Bank Berhad ("HLB"), is a leading financial services institution in Malaysia. It provides a wide range of products and innovative solutions in personal financial services, business banking, treasury, transaction banking, and wealth management. Listed on Bursa Malaysia with headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, HLB operates a distribution network of over 220 branches that extends beyond Malaysia, with an established presence in Singapore and Hong Kong as well as wholly-owned subsidiaries in Vietnam and Cambodia. It was the first Malaysian bank to enter the banking sector of Mainland China in 2008 and holds a 17.78% stake in the Bank of Chengdu Co. Ltd. HLB's subsidiary, Hong Leong Islamic Bank Berhad, further adds on by offering Islamic banking and wealth management services.

Insurance Services

Insurance is also a major part of HLFG’s service offering. Its insurance interests are currently made up of a 70% interest in Hong Leong Assurance Berhad ("HLA") and 30% interest in MSIG Insurance (Malaysia) Bhd, where they provide life and general insurance services respectively in Malaysia. HLA is the largest domestic life insurance company in Malaysia, acclaimed with multiple industry accolades over the years, including being a nine-time winner of Domestic Life Insurer of the Year – Malaysia at the Insurance Asia Awards.

HLFG also owns a 100% interest in Hong Leong Insurance (Asia) Limited and HL Assurance Pte. Ltd. which provide general insurance services in Hong Kong and Singapore respectively, and a 65% interest in Hong Leong MSIG Takaful Berhad focusing on Takaful family insurance.

Hong Leong Capital Berhad is an investment holding company listed on Bursa Malaysia, which provides investment banking, stock and futures broking and fund management services through its two main subsidiaries namely, Hong Leong Investment Bank Berhad and Hong Leong Asset Management Bhd.
