   2012
  - Guoco Group established a U.S.$3 billion medium term note programme and issued an aggregate amount of U.S.$500 million notes under the programme at a rate of 4.75% per annum
  - The Rank Group, Plc. ("Rank") announced the proposed acquisition of Gala Casinos Limited. Subject to completion, Rank will become the largest casino operator in Great Britain with an estate of 58 casinos
  - GuocoLeisure Limited ("GuocoLeisure") established a S$300 million multicurrency medium term note programme
   2011
  - GuocoLand Limited ("GuocoLand") updated and upsized its multicurrency medium term note programme from S$800 million to S$1.5 billion
  - Guoco acquired control of Rank, a UK gaming operator, via a mandatory cash offer
  - Hong Leong Bank Berhad ("Hong Leong Bank") completed the acquisition of EON Bank Group and became the fourth largest bank in Malaysia in terms of total assets of the merged bank
   2010
  - Following the listing of Pepsi Cola Products Philippines, Inc ("PCPPI") in 2008, Guoco Group's investment in PCPPI was subsequently sold at a profit of US$42 million
  - GuocoLand completed a rights issue of S$533 million
  - Hong Leong Financial Group ("HLFG")'s insurance arm entered into a joint venture with Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group ("MSIG") in respect of their life and general insurance business whereby:

  • Hong Leong Assurance Berhad ("HLA") (HLFG: 70%, MSIG: 30%) becomes the top three life insurers in Malaysia

  • MSIG Insurance (Malaysia) Berhad (HLFG: 30%, MSIG: 70%) is ranked within the top general insurers in Malaysia
       2008
      - Following Guoco Group's investment into PCPPI in 1998, PCPPI was successfully listed on the Philippines Stock Exchange
      - GuocoLand established and issued a S$800 million multicurrency medium term note programme
       2007
      - GuocoLand completed a S$690 million convertible bond issue due 2012 and a rights issue of S$555 million
       2006
      - GuocoLeisure was granted a gaming license in the UK to make its first foray in the UK gaming industry
      - GuocoLand completed mandatory general offer on GuocoLand Malaysia Berhad ("GuocoLand Malaysia") which then became a GuocoLand's subsidiary with embedded operations in Malaysia
      - Listing of Tower REIT managed by GuocoLand Malaysia with an initial market capitalisation of RM251.6 million
      - HLA and Hong Leong Bank via a joint venture with Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Co. Ltd made further inroad into the Takaful business in Malaysia and overseas
      - GuocoLeisure purchased the famous Clermont Club in Mayfair, London, establishing its first venture in the gaming industry
       2005
      - Hong Leong Bank was granted an Islamic banking licence and set up Hong Leong Islamic Bank Berhad
      - Guoco acquired control of BIL International Limited (renamed as GuocoLeisure Limited) via a mandatory general offer and launched into the Hospitality and Leisure Business
       2004
      - Hong Leong Group increased its shareholding interests in Guoco which became its subsidiary
       2003
      - Sale of Dao Heng Fund Management Limited to Principal Financial Group
       2002
      - Infrastructure established to develop Proprietary Asset Management (now known as Principal Investment) business
      - Through the acquisition of interests in Hong Leong Properties Berhad (renamed as "GuocoLand (Malaysia) Berhad"), GuocoLand built up its presence in Malaysia as one of the core geographical markets
